NO. The Pirate & Princess race is a charity event for the seasoned vet newbie runners and walkers alike. In the spirit of the Sophie & Madigan’s Playground, we want our race to be welcoming to kids and their families. To accommodate those who would like to test their speed we ask that you please line up according to your estimated per-mile pace. If you’re a walker, please stand towards the back of the lineup.

When you register as a team fundraiser (versus an individual), you get perks like choosing a groovy custom team name and team costume (always encouraged!).
