Help Me Reach My Fundraising Goal
I am excited to be running in the runDisney Princess Fairy-Tale Challenge in February and fundraise for Sophie and Madigan's Playground. The runDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend will take place from February 23-26 in Orlando, Florida.

On Friday, February 24, I will start off my challenge with a 5k! I plan to walk/run this event, saving up energy for the bigger distances.
Next, on Saturday the 25th, I will complete a 10k through Walt Disney World, then on Sunday I'll continue the Fairy-Tale Challenge and complete a Half Marathon! Am I going crazy, or what?! :)

Before taking on the Challenge, I knew I wanted to use this experience to raise money for others, and that's when I learned about Sophie and Madigan's Playground. I was so extremely moved by their story and I knew right away I wanted to fundraise on their behalf.

The Lillard family lost two of their daughters (ages 6 and 3) and their home one night in a tragic house fire in 2013. They set up this organization in honor of their girls, Sophie and Madigan. Their sole purpose is to create inclusive playgrounds for other young children and foster lifelong memories for families.

So, if you've made it this far - thank you for supporting me as I run on behalf of Sophie and Madigan's Playground. Your contribution is greatly appreciated - more than you know! The money you've donated will benefit children and families in Sophie and Madigan's honor.
