Hey friends!
As most of you know I have a little obsession with Disney races. When I wasn't able to sign up for the Marathon Weekend 5k in 2023, I started looking at other options. I didn't really know how the charity sign-ups worked, so I started looking into it. I came across this amazing organization, Sophie and Madigan's Playground. Their family set up this project after losing their precious children too soon. They wanted other families to be able to create memories for themselves, while playing in a park dedicated to the memory of the daughters.

As an Architect, I have been involved in various playground projects throughout my career. I love that Sophie and Madigan's parents want to design a playground that their kids would have loved, in order to share their memory with others.

The mission of Sophie and Madigan's Playground is to honor the lives of Sophie and Madigan Lillard by building a memorial playground and providing opportunities for children and their families to play, learn, and create lifelong memories together, and in ways that reflect the beautiful personalities and spirits of these two sisters.
