Help Me Reach My Fundraising Goal
As most of you know I run a lot of race's and I love to run Disney race's. For the first time ever I decided to run my Disney Princess half marathon in memory of Sophie and Madigan. They are 2 beautiful princess's who passed away on January 31, 2013 in a house fire in Myersville, MD (Frederick County). The family have 2 surviving daughters and have decided to honor their girls by building a local playground in their memory. I do not know the family but have been following their progress via this race. Their entire family has more strength then I can ever imagine. January 31st also has a very special meaning to my family it is Cooper's birthday so I feel an extra connection to the family. No pressure at all but any little bit will help towards building a beautiful playground for local kids to enjoy.

The mission of Sophie and Madigan's Playground is to honor the lives of Sophie and Madigan Lillard by building a memorial playground and providing opportunities for children and their families to play, learn, and create lifelong memories together, and in ways that reflect the beautiful personalities and spirits of these two sisters.
