Help Me Reach My Fundraising Goal
The quest began simply enough. A chat with my 5yr old turned into a soul-searching investigation of goals, determination, and what hard work "really looks like."
Birthed from the conversation came a (few restless nights and) resolve to tangibly demonstrate doing hard things for my children.

Goals were created to challenge myself in several arenas: My thought life, spiritual life, and physical life. Goals with an emphasis on people over tasks, moments over material, and presence over perfection. I’m setting out to complete 39 races in my 39th year as my “physical life goal.”

Running isn't something I particularly enjoy (neither do my knees or bum ankle). But the opportunities it provides, as well as the vast flexibility to do so (little is required and it can be done with a stroller or on slim notice!) cemented the #39in39 objective.

Thank you for joining my family and me on this journey and for supporting the fantastic cause of Sophie and Madigan's Playground. May you also be inspired to attempt a challenge and do something hard because, You Can! And, as they say, if you never try, you'll never know.

I am raising funds for 3 different RunDisney race weekends for a total of $3,100 in support needed. Please partner with me for:
*Disney's Wine&Dine Weekend(Nov)- Half Marathon (I'll do a total of 16.2miles this weekend)
*Disney's Marathon Weekend(Jan)- Dopey Challenge (5k, 10k, Half Marathon, FULL Marathon...all in 4 days for a total of 48.6miles)
*Disney's Princess Weekend- Fairytale Challenge (10k and Half Marathon. The capstone weekend of my #39in39 races! And I’ll do a total of 22.4miles over the weekend)

The mission of Sophie and Madigan's Playground is to honor the lives of Sophie and Madigan Lillard by building a memorial playground and providing opportunities for children and their families to play, learn, and create lifelong memories together, and in ways that reflect the beautiful personalities and spirits of these two sisters.
