Help Me Reach My Fundraising Goal
As many of you know, I run in honor of my amazing sister Kristen who lost her battle with breast cancer on June 21, 2021. In February 2014, Kristen and I crossed the finish line of the Disney Princess Half Marathon. It was my very first half marathon and I was so incredibly blessed to cross holding the hand of my sister. In 2024 I plan to cross the Princess finish again in Kristen’s memory and I’m SO excited to be partnering with the charity, Sophie and Madigan’s Playground, at the same time!

Sophie and Madigan’s Playground honors the lives of two young sisters who were tragically killed in a house fire. The charity helps honor their memory by raising money to build incredible playgrounds all over the country so other children can celebrate their zest for life and play. Having lost my sister myself, this charity, and the way it honors sisterhood, friendship and love touches me deeply.

The mission of Sophie and Madigan's Playground is to honor the lives of Sophie and Madigan Lillard by building a memorial playground and providing opportunities for children and their families to play, learn, and create lifelong memories together, and in ways that reflect the beautiful personalities and spirits of these two sisters.
