When I got back to running a couple of years ago, I made the absolutely ridiculous statement that I’d love to run a marathon by 40. Apparently, the universe listened and agreed. I'm still a little shocked, but very very excited, to be running the 2027 Walt Disney World Marathon!

Running has transformed my relationship with my identity and my body, and I wanted to take my chance at something so meaningful to me and make it count in a bigger way. I chose SaMP as my charity very intentionally. In my work, witnessing others take their grief and transform it into something meaningful is powerful. Sophie and Madigan’s family took a devastating loss and turned it into a mission to support all the ways families can make lasting memories together while honoring their daughters. Grief is transformative, and I’ll back that every time.

When I tell you every little bit matters, I mean it. A few steps add up to miles, a few dollars add up to a big financial impact for this organization.
