Help Me Reach My Fundraising Goal
Hi! I'm Jenn.

Most of you probably already know who I am and what my "story" is but for those who don't, here's a little bit about me.

I'm a 30 year old, mother of 3, living in Frederick MD. After losing almost 200 pounds, I started running but I have never ran more than a 5k race. My longest run to date is 7 miles and it took everything out of me. I am determined to run this half marathon alongside some of my favorite people.

I am running and fundraising for Sophie and Madigan's Playground. My friends, Chrissi and Jack Lillard, lost their two precious daughters Sophie (3) and Madigan (6)in a horrific house fire. They have since started a wonderful nonprofit charity to not only build an innovative playground here in Frederick, MD but to help create memories within families.

I don't normally sell things or ask for money but if you could support me in my fundraising effort to reach my goal, I would be forever thankful. Every dollar you give adds up and it doesn't matter if you donate $1 or $100, I appreciate your support. All donations are tax deductible.

There are times where the thought of this race scares me beyond words and I sit and wonder if I'm strong enough... but then I think of how strong Chrissi and Jack are every day and it pushes me forward.

I'm going to do this. I can do this. We can do hard things. Let's build a playground!!

The mission of Sophie and Madigan's Playground is to honor the lives of Sophie and Madigan Lillard by building a memorial playground and providing opportunities for children and their families to play, learn, and create lifelong memories together, and in ways that reflect the beautiful personalities and spirits of these two sisters.
