Hi everyone! My name is Nicole, and I’m honored to be running the 2027 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend in support of Sophie & Madigan’s Playground. As someone who grew up with a sister and understands the special bond between siblings, this cause touches my heart deeply.

Sophie and Madigan’s story is one that stays with you — two little girls whose lives were tragically cut short, but whose joy, love, and light continue to inspire so many through this playground and community.


Disney has always meant more to me than just a place — it’s a feeling of hope, happiness, and magic. Running down Main Street surrounded by thousands of people chasing dreams and celebrating life reminds me how important it is to hold onto joy and create spaces where children can simply laugh, play, and make memories. Every mile I run will be for Sophie and Madigan, for their family, and for every child who deserves a safe and magical place to play.

The mission of Sophie and Madigan's Playground is to honor the lives of Sophie and Madigan Lillard by building a memorial playground and providing opportunities for children and their families to play, learn, and create lifelong memories together, and in ways that reflect the beautiful personalities and spirits of these two sisters.
