Help Me Reach My Fundraising Goal
I am a Frederick, MD mom of two: Ryan is 7, and Samantha is 4. In January 2013, they were 6 and 3, the exact same ages as Sophie and Madigan were when they lost their lives. As you can imagine, this local tragedy hits close to home for me. I am honored to do what I can to help support the Lillard family and honor the lives of their beautiful little girls.

I have run 11 half marathons (6 at Disney) and 3 full marathons (all at Disney), but I have never run for a charity team or fundraised before. I think this cause is more than worthy!

The mission of Sophie and Madigan's Playground is to honor the lives of Sophie and Madigan Lillard by building a memorial playground and providing opportunities for children and their families to play, learn, and create lifelong memories together, and in ways that reflect the beautiful personalities and spirits of these two sisters.
